Meet the
Founder & Owner of LUMINA ESTHETICS

What I love most about being an esthetician is the opportunity to genuinely care for each and every person who enters my treatment room. I consider it a privilege when someone entrusts me with their skin, and I approach that responsibility with genuine gratitude and care.
I find fulfillment in helping clients achieve meaningful improvements in their skin, empowering them with knowledge, and building relationships rooted in trust and personalized care. Just as important to me is creating an experience where each person feels genuinely attended to and nurtured throughout their time with me. My hope is that every client leaves feeling deeply cared for, with a greater sense of confidence, self-assurance, and appreciation for their own skin.
My interest in beauty and skincare began long before I ever considered becoming an esthetician. From a young age, I was fascinated by makeup as a form of self-expression, and as I grew older, I became increasingly interested in how beauty routines and skincare products could influence the way we feel about ourselves. I came to view caring for the skin as a deep appreciation for oneself, an expression of self-respect, and a form of thoughtful self-care. Friends and family often came to me for advice on products and routines, and I found myself continually researching ingredients, learning about the beauty industry, and staying curious about new developments and trends in skincare and makeup artistry.
That curiosity eventually led me to pursue professional training and certification in makeup artistry. While I enjoyed the creative side of makeup, I quickly realized that what fascinated me most was the skin itself. I especially loved prepping the skin for makeup application and became increasingly interested in understanding the skin as the canvas—how to care for it, address individual concerns, and support meaningful improvements in its appearance and condition beyond what makeup alone could achieve. Seeing how the thoughtful attention to my models' skin, alongside the experience of being cared for, could positively influence their sense of confidence and how they felt about themselves, only deepened my interest in skincare.
After pursuing a career outside the beauty industry, I reached a point where I began asking myself what I was waiting for, and what it might look like to finally give myself permission to pursue what I truly loved. Beauty and skincare had always been genuine passions of mine, and I realized it was time to make room for what I loved most in my life's work.
That decision led me to enroll at Nova Academy of Cosmetology, where I began my formal education in esthetics. After earning my initial esthetician license, I chose to pursue additional education and training to earn my Advanced Practice Esthetician license, building upon my foundation and expanding the range of professional treatment methods and modalities I could incorporate into my work.
With that foundation, I established Lumina Esthetics —a practice where I could bring together my professional training, lifelong passion for skincare, and belief that effective, individualized skin therapy and deeply restorative care can coexist.
My Approach as an Advanced Practice Licensed Esthetician
As an Advanced Practice Licensed Esthetician, I'm deeply committed to ongoing professional development and continuing education. I actively seek opportunities to expand my knowledge and refine my skills through advanced training, professional courses, and staying informed about emerging research, skincare innovations, treatment techniques, and developments within the esthetics industry. I find tremendous fulfillment in continually learning and applying that knowledge in ways that meaningfully benefit my clients.
I enjoy the process of understanding each person's skin—considering their individual concerns, goals, skincare history, and how their skin responds to treatment. There is something especially fulfilling about bringing together professional knowledge, thoughtful assessment, and individualized care to develop a treatment approach that supports both immediate needs and longer-term skin goals.
I'm also highly selective about the skincare products I choose to work with and recommend, taking care to ensure that what I bring into my treatment room and offer for home care meets my own standards for quality, performance, and suitability for my clients.
Hermitage Farm has held a special place in my life long before I became a practitioner here. Through attending events, workshops, and retreats over the years, I came to regard Hermitage as one of my spiritual homes—a place where I found opportunities for reflection, personal growth, and connection.
To now have the opportunity to practice within this same community feels both perfectly natural and especially meaningful to me. I'm grateful to be able to contribute to a place that has given so much to me personally, while sharing my passion for skincare and offering thoughtful, nurturing care that honors the spirit of healing at Hermitage.
Outside the treatment room, I enjoy reading, exploring various creative interests, nurturing my spiritual life, and making time for personal growth, introspection, and quiet reflection. I'm also a proud dog mom, and much of my free time is spent with my beloved rescue dog, Paul.
